Accessing the HiFiveStar API for Advanced Customization

HiFiveStar offers built-in automations. HiFiveStar does not give out API keys right now. If you need your own software to send customers to HiFiveStar for a review request, use Automate:

1. Open Automate in the menu on the left.

2. Under Connect an app, choose Your own software. HiFiveStar shows Your connection link.

3. Have your software send a POST request to that link when a customer is done, as JSON or a form with:

- the customer's name and a phone number or email;

- an id if you like: a repeat of the same id is ignored.

4. Send one request from your software, and it shows up in Automate. Anyone with the link can send you customers, so keep it private. Automations are part of the Pro plan; you can connect and test on any plan.
