Integrating Google reviews into your HiFiveStar platform streamlines how you manage your online reputation. By connecting Google with HiFiveStar, you can monitor, manage, and respond to Google reviews directly within HiFiveStar.
Make sure your business is listed on Google Business Profile (GBP)
If you have multiple Google accounts, sign into the one that manages the Business Profile
Confirm you have Owner or Manager permissions on the listing
Login to your HiFiveStar account
On the left sidebar, Navigate to "Settings" > "Integrations"
Under Google, click “Integrate”
IMPORTANT: When Google asks you to sign in or pick an account, use the one that manages your Google Business Profile.
Approve access and finish the connection
If the button is disabled or nothing happens:
Sign in at https://business.google.com
Confirm the Business Profile dashboard appears
If Google asks you to pick an account, choose the one managing the listing
If your business doesn’t appear, it’s usually because it hasn’t been claimed yet or you don’t have access to it
Is Google Business Profile the same as GMB?
Yes. Google rebranded Google My Business (GMB) to Google Business Profile. The integration works the same.
Do I need to claim my business before connecting?
Yes. If your business isn’t claimed, Google won’t show it during the integration. Claim or request access first, then reconnect.
I have multiple Google accounts. Which one should I use?
Use the Google account that manages your Business Profile.
If you manage more than one business, connect the profile that matches the location in HiFiveStar.
If your plan includes one location and you want to connect more, upgrade to add additional locations.
What if my business isn’t on Google yet?
If your business doesn’t appear when you search it on Google, create a new Business Profile.
If it appears but shows “Claim this business,” claim and verify it first.
After verification, you can integrate it with HiFiveStar.
How do I know if my profile is verified?
Verified profiles show reviews and can be managed in Google Business Profile.
Unverified profiles must complete verification before reviews can sync.
What if I just created my Business Profile?
Google may still be verifying it. Verification must complete before reviews sync to HiFiveStar.
Do older reviews sync?
Yes. Existing visible reviews on your Business Profile are imported during the initial sync.
Reviews that Google has deleted cannot be imported.
When do reviews sync?
After the initial import, new reviews sync automatically.
Where do my reviews appear in HiFiveStar?
Reviews will appear in your Reviews tab after syncing.
Can agencies manage multiple profiles?
Yes, as long as the agency has Owner or Manager access to each profile.
